A Typographic Day for Confucius Magazine Leipzig
A typographic day with the Design and Picture Editing Team of Confucius Magazine (Leipzig) in Berlin:
After the request for a typographic conducted tour through the Exhibition “Schriftbilder – Bilderschrift Chinese Poster and Book Design of Today“ in Kulturforum, I’ve prepared a cultural-historical introduction through the exhibition about the history of poster art in China, which is a mirror for the social and political changes of the last 100 years.
The next station of the typographic journey was a small workshop in Studio Wu 無, where the designers could create One-Character-Poster with papers and scissors. The design should reveal the meaning of the Chinese Character.
