The meaning of democracy

Thomas Mann House and Goethe-Institut China brought three world-renowned thinkers into conversation with each other: Melissa Williams(University of Toronto),  Rainer Forst (University of Frankfurt) and Zhao Tingyang 赵挺阳 (Chinese Academy of Social Sciences) discuss global justice and different understandings of democracy in light of their respective cultural contexts.
