Archaeological Cloth Sculptures

The dresses were created out of old clothes I found in my family’s wardrobe 
in Shanghai. Pyjamas, dresses, bedclothes, caps – every single piece is a mosaic of family history and reveals the 70s, 80s and 90s in China, a time of huge social transformation and style mixes.
